Content Marketing Specialist

Department: Marketing
Location: Bartlesville, OK

JOB SUMMARY

This position will manage the current intranet using Truity's culture and branding to communicate all company information and strategies using the intranet and other methods to Truity employees. Having responsibility for the visual design, site navigation, site content, engagement and training of users, coordination with key stakeholders and oversight of intranet technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May include any and/or all of the following:

  1. Aggressively manage account relationships with departments and business units, etc., in facilitating the creation of resource materials including but not limited to advertising, product promotions, sales materials, newsletters and media.
  2. Responsible for at least 15-30% of all internal and external copywriting activities including digital, print, video and audio scripts, member correspondence and more.
  3. Create, design and produce all Marketing communication pieces- traditional and digital- including video and email automation.

  1. Research and write press releases and content for the company while representing and promoting the Truity brand
  2. Develop and implement a communication plan that includes the design of advertising and collateral material and promotional pieces, printing and mailing, and internal communication and coordination.
  3. Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring high-quality and error-free copy.
  4. Coordinate demographic segment programs such as; Deposit, Loan, Business Development, SEG &/or branch initiatives to support annual KPI's & Strategic Initiatives.
  5. Monitor and track all communications; and report the final results with the Marketing Summary.
  6. Coordinate with Business Intelligence &/or service providers to identify and integrate consumer data to achieve targeted marketing.
  7. Oversees and responds to the corporate knowledge base (Chatbot responses, SMS auto-response, &/or Social Messaging). Building, editing, cultivating and sourcing content across all departments and disciplines for internal and external resources.
  8. Vendor management of technology tools including, CMS, web plug-ins, knowledge base systems, analytics platforms and more.
  9. Ensure all content, as well as the intranet look and feel, meet Truity's branding standards and cultural tone.
  10. Support and participate in Credit Union events relative to community and public relations, such as trade shows, charitable events, etc.
  11. Moderate travel to attend conferences, training, &/or maintain minimum quarterly branch visit requirement.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Knowledge of:
      • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
      • Must have one or more of the following skills:
        • Highly experienced with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and graphic design
        • High level of Social Media advertising experience using Hootsuite or other web-based delivery technologies
        • Highly experienced with CMS software usage and best practices with a general understanding of CSS, JavaScript, & HTML
      • AP Style Guide
      • Highly experienced with Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to:
      • Solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations
      • Read and interpret a variety of data or instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
      • Write reports and correspondence &/or communicate effectively with members and employees
      • Self-direct with the initiative and drive necessary to activate a project from conception through completion
      • Organize and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
      • Understand top-level business strategies and organizational structure
      • Coordinate and facilitate activities with colleagues
      • Handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion

  • Skill in:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with members and co-employees
      • Making effective and timely decisions
      • Project Management

QUALIFICATIONS

Critical Development Experiences:

Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development through training, education and self-study

Successfully complete all applicable compliance training and testing

Education and experience equivalent to:

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, communications, business or a related major is preferred

Three to five years of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, including preparatory experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity. The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech are required to effectively work with co-employees and members.

Follows regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance related Policies. This position also requires maintaining confidentiality with regard to non-public information about our members and the Credit Union.
